Your work is like the inside of an Orthodox church: crowded with incense and fervent people.You have evolved out of centuries of blod, sweat and prayer.
This is excellent Galina. The somber but warm and inviting tones add to the Easter theme. This picture feels very different from the often springtime pastel colors that seem to be associated with the season and event. I think you painting has more weight to it because of this.

This is the Monostery of Vodocha in the state of Macedonia. I really wanted to reach the sence of the old icons in this work. So for me that is not just a landscape of an ancient church.
