This painting is lovely - I just LOVE the texure I can see - I think it would look beautiful in any house as it has all the colours of the rainbow. Cheers Val :
Very nice. the thick impasto is intriguing to look at. I don't know if it is a good thing to always draw an analogy to another artist but I can't help it sometimes. This work reminds me of an artist who I've always enjoyed, Nicholas Pousette-Dart.
Galina! This is joyous! I agree with Stephen D. about evoking Pousette-Dart, but this also says Spring: Full Bloom to me. Yesterday our tulip magnolia burst forth, and blooms were flying everywhere in the wind. Your painting has that same life force. Liz
Obrigado por ficares seguidora e pela visita. Eu adoro arte, mas não sou artista, sou artesão. Para ver arte, não é preciso falar línguas, pelo que virei mais vezes. Beijo
Unfortunately it`s almost impossible to make good photos of paintings with such textures. I do my best but there are always some shades depanding on the light angle of course.
I feel flattared at the thought of being compared to such great painters like Richard Pousette-Dart. May be there is something common in colour dynamics. Thank you.
I am sorry! I would forget to say happy Easter! That is because the ortodox Easter is a week latet. But that is not so important because we share one Easter. Take care

Oops!! I said Nicholas, I meant Richard Pousette-Dart

I enjoy your choice of subject matter; the seasons, feelings, places, time, the sacred. And of course the textures; I love those! And your header....
This is a very interesting and textural piece. I am glad you became a new friend of my blog, so I could find yours!
NICE PAINTINGS

Ohh -- I just want to touch the surface. Such wonderful texture and rich colors. I found you through Myrna's blog. Yours is a keeper.
I so like your colors and I love the texture. This is my first time to visit and I will return.
