WHAT A LOVELY PAINTING. My grandfather was a sailor, (I live myself beside the Cantabrian Sea). He had a little boat very similar to these ones. This makes me come back to my childhood...
Again, one of my favorite works from you. Colours are so BRIGHT and BEAUTIFUL... They make me feel HAPPY.
I see connections with some impressionist painters. I know your art is defined as "abstract expressionism", but I think it's not exactly that. Or not only that. I think, again, that Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh would consider you their sister-painter.
Monet was a Scorpio with Moon in Cancer. Van Gogh an Aries with Cancer in his ascendant. I think the sign of Cancer is the connection. Water, anyway.
Beautiful painting, Galya. I love it. Attending to individual works, I publish in my blog those that I love most, so this one is going there immediately. It is a great, GREAT job. Sensitive, touching as always, but it transmits LIGHT more than ever.
